Welcome to Jash Research Laboratory
A space for research in bio-inorganic chemistry.
Research Interest
As chemists, we are intensely interested in the field of nucleic acid, and value in-depth investigation of the subject and its challenges.
Prebiotic Chemistry: Investigating plausible biochemical pathways that drove the transition from simple molecular systems to biological complexity.
G-quadruplex Nucleic Acid: Designing molecular probes that target G-quadruplex DNA with high specificity to overcome current therapeutic limitations.
Artificial Nucleobase in DNA: Synthesis of artificial nucleobases for site-specific functionalization by metal ions, enhancing the robustness and reversibility of higher-order DNA architectures.
Typically, all projects necessitate the engagement of synthetic organic chemistry, coordination chemistry, and nucleic acid chemistry.
